Long-term solutions

The Norfolk Coast Path National Trail team is working to improve accessibility and enhance the visitor experience at Beeston Bump and Skelding Hill (Sheringham).

What we’ve done so far

In January, we held a drop-in event in Sheringham, with over 50 people attending to learn more about the project and share their thoughts. The feedback we received was incredibly helpful and is already shaping ideas for this section of the Norfolk Coast Path. We also undertook temporary repair work at Skelding Hill to improve access along this stretch of the trail while longer-term solutions are developed.

Plans for the future

We are still finalising the plans for improving accessibility on this part of the trail. However, if you’re interested in this project, please keep an eye on this page for regular updates.
