Discover a landscape alive with nature
Take to the trails
Exploring on foot is one of the best ways to discover the Norfolk Coast.
You can now walk non-stop along the entire Norfolk coastline – although you might like to take a break here and there along the 112-mile route!
Whichever trail you choose, explore at your own pace – take a short walk with friends or head out on a long-distance solo adventure.
We’ve got miles of quiet off-road routes, many of which are accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
See below for links to trails.
Great for cyclists
The Norfolk coast is ‘wheely good’ for cycling, whatever your fitness and confidence level.
Bring your own bike on the train or why not think about renting an e-bike for your visit?
We’ve got plenty of shorter or flatter routes for those who like to take it easy. If you’re looking for adventure, we’ve also got rough stuff for bikepackers, including the Rebellion Way long-distance route.
The Norfolk coast is a cycle-friendly destination. You’ll find lots of places to eat, drink and stay that welcome cyclists, as well as secure parking, toolkits and free water bottle refills at many rest stops.

Longshore walk
Make time for yourself with this beautiful coastal and marsh walk. Enjoy the sights of the shingle ridge at Cley beach and the orange-billed oystercatchers probing the marshes for shellfish.
Rebellion Way
Cyclists up for a challenge will have the chance to tackle Rebellion Way, a brand-new 233-mile route inspired by two of Norfolk’s famous rebel leaders – Boudicca and Robert Kett.
