Help us care for our coast

Small actions can make a big difference – from following the paths and shopping locally, to well-behaved pets and careful camping.
Here are some of the ways you can help us to look after our Norfolk coast.

Help wildlife thrive

Help wildlife thrive by keeping your distance. Stay out of fenced areas to let wildlife feed and nest in peace. Take lots of photos, but leave our plants!

On the right path

To really escape from it all…please follow the paths! We like campfires too, but make sure you toast your marshmallows in designated areas only.

Keep it green

We think flocks of birds are much better than crowds of cars. Think about hopping on the bus or taking the bike for a spin when you visit us.

Respect from pets

We’re a very dog-friendly coast…but please put pets on a lead when asked and don’t forget to scoop the poop!

Support local businesses

Our coast is packed full of farmers markets, creatives and independent shops – making it easy to buy local and support our rural economy.

Leave no trace

Creepy crawlies are cool, but no-one likes a litterbug! Please use litterbins and local recycling services, or take your rubbish home.
