Help us care for our coast

Small actions can make a big difference – from following the paths to shopping locally, and from well-behaved pets to careful camping.
There’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the Norfolk Coast and plenty of ways to help protect its landscapes and habitats.
Here are some of the ways you can join us in caring for the coast to keep it special.

Escape on the paths

To really escape… please follow the paths! We like campfires too, but please remember to toast your marshmallows only in designated areas.

Help wildlife thrive

Help wildlife thrive by keeping your distance. Stay out of fenced areas to let wildlife feed and nest in peace. Take photos, but not our plants and pebbles.

Keep it green

We can all agree that flocks of birds are better than crowds of cars. So think about hopping on the bus or taking the bike for a spin when you visit.

Leave no trace

Creepy crawlies are cool, but no-one likes a litterbug! Please use our bins and local recycling services and don’t forget to take your rubbish home.

Respect from pets

We know dogs love the wild. Just pop them on a lead when asked. No matter the size or place…don’t poop and run! Please clean up after your pets.
