Promoting your project
Project news and publicity
If you have received funding through the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme, publicity is a great way to highlight the positive impact your project is having on nature, climate, heritage and local communities.
We would encourage you to promote project milestones and achievements. This can be in different ways, such as:
- Websites and blogs
- Newsletters
- Social media
- Press releases and interviews
- Events and promotional materials
Where possible, include photos to bring your project to life.
Acknowledging funding
Although there are no formal publicity requirements, when promoting your project, we would encourage you to acknowledge that it has received funding through Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme, which is delivered locally by Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape.
You may wish to use the following wording: “This project has been funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme and supported by the Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape team as the delivery body.”
Let us know if you would like a FiPL logo to use.
For interviews and informal communications, a simple mention that your project received FiPL funding from Defra through Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape can raise awareness of the programme and the support available to applicants and projects.
Keep in touch
Please let us know about any events, milestones or project achievements that we can also share to promote your project and celebrate successes across the area. Examples of ongoing and completed projects help show the value of FiPL funding and inspire others to apply for funding. If you have any questions about acknowledging FiPL funding, please get in touch.
