FiPL hits £1mil!

We’re delighted to share that the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs’ (Defra) Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme has now awarded more than £1 million in grants to farmers, land managers and landowners across the Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape.

Since FiPL launched in 2021, we’ve supported 67 projects providing a total of £1,009,961 in funding. Each project has received a grant for the positive impact it brings to the Norfolk Coast — from helping nature recover and reducing the effects of climate change to protecting cultural heritage and improving access to, and enjoyment of, this special landscape. Funding will continue to be awarded to new projects until the programme concludes in March 2026.
