FiPL hits £1mil!
We’re delighted to announce that more than £1 million in grants have now been awarded through the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs’ (Defra) Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme to local farmers, land managers and landowners within the Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape.
Since the FiPL project began in 2021, we’ve supported 67 projects with a total of £1,009,961 in funding. Each of these projects has been awarded a grant because of the benefits it brings to our Norfolk Coast — whether that’s helping nature recover, reducing the impacts of climate change, protecting and enhancing cultural heritage, or improving access to and enjoyment of our important landscape. More projects will be awarded funding until the programme ends in March 2026.
We’d like to thank Defra for the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme — and everyone who has helped make the projects to date possible.
